They verify the identity of the signers, ensure that they are not under duress, and signers awareness of the contents of the documents or transaction. They are tasked with deterring fraud.
What is a Notary Signing Agent?
Notary Signing Agents (NSAs) facilitate loan closings for the mortgage finance industry. NSAs guide the borrowers thru the loan process.
What Type of ID is Required?
Unexpired Government ID bearing your picture and signature.
Typical Examples: Drivers License, State Identification Card, Passport, Military ID, etc.
Will the Notary Public provide you with Documents?
No, I will not provide you with documents. You will have your own documents. Exceptions may occur with mortgage real estate loan documents.
What if I do not see my document for notarization listed?
There are many forms submitted for notarization and only a few could be listed. Please contact me for further assistance.
